Every year I try to make one or two new Christmas things for our home. This year I was a "bum" and didn't finish anything special. I am still working on my needlepunch turkey for Thanksgiving! :) Even though I didn't have a lot of time for needlework or quilting this fall, I still loved unpacking handmade things from years past. My favorites are the snowman quilt (made from a pattern purchased from Meme's quilts) and the two embroidered pillows (Bareroots pattern) I made for our big comfy chairs. Now it really feels like Christmas!

Your work is just beautiful, Mary! I know you haven't a lot of time for handwork this Christmas, but you've certainly been creating ... lots of memories for those precious young ones!
I was so glad to read that you'll be surrounded by ALL your precious children this season. I know your heart is singing.
Christmas blessings,
Lea
